The Stormy Waterfall

A fae slunk through the forest's shadows, following the scent trail of a pack. She was looking to join, and make a permenant home. Her ears twitched, a trickle, no a roar of water. She quickly glanced around with her emerald opticals before slipping back into her cloak of darkness. If you where looking, the last thing you'd see would be a cream toned foreleg dissapear into the undergrowth.

The spray of the falls created droplets of moisture on the femme's canvas. She closed her eyes and inhaled the slight floral scent that perfumed the air. Tail swishing, the demoness padded into a cave under the waterfall.

Someone had followed her. Hackles bristling, the she-beast whirled around to face the titian. He was smaller than most wolves, but she noted the muscles rippling under his pelt. She lowered her head slightly as well as her banner to show respect to the wolf. "Hello," she started with a simple greeting in her soft voice.

His body stopped moving. Everything was quiet as he go closer to the fae.
He slowly walked up to her and sniffed. His tail started to wag as he felt no danger present."Hello, I am Ninja, the alpha male. And you are?" he stood there and listened to the sounds of the waterfall.

She let herself become looser before tentatively answering, "I'm Chi. I was looking to join." Her tassel swished uncertianly while her emerald eyes waited for the brute's response.

"Greetings Chi. I see." the brute was having a hard time with thinking of something to say. "Well, sense you are here, might as well stay."

Chi smiled shyly, tail swinging happily. "Thank you, you won't be dissapointed." she replied.

Chi turned her gaze to the new mistress, "Greetings, T'kai." she responded.

The earth-toned mistress flicked her tail in thanks, the roar of the waterfall taking over. She closed her eyes for a moment and enjoyed the sound before opening them again.

Chi padded deeper into the cavern, the thundering falls fading out to a soft patter. She pricked her ears to listen for danger.

Chi returned to the main cavern, watching the last of a rosey hue evaporate from the sky; turning it indigo. Slowly sparkling stars glittered in the darkness, the fae closed her emerald opticals and inhaled deeply. She sighed on the exhale and lowered her frame so it lay again the cool rock floor.
